In the piece entitled "Distance," the nose and lips of the face have been dissected and pushed to the back of the throat, compelling the viewer to peer into the mouth and preventing them from forming a normative connection. It symbolizes self-protection and represents social distancing, reflecting this new aspect of our everyday lives.
